The Therapeutic Journey
A journey of self-discovery, growth and meaningful change through trust, connection and guidance
Using evidence-based mind-body techniques, I guide clients to develop deeper self-awareness and to see themselves from a new perspective, whilst cultivating balance, authenticity and inner resilience.
Awareness and Inner Balance/Presence
At the heart of my approach is a familiarity and understanding of the nervous system- the body’s communication and regulatory center. It is also vital to recognize that each person’s nervous system is unique, shaped by genetics, early experiences and cultural influences.
Listening to Body & Nervous system
Significant and profound change occurs in a safe and inclusive space that encourages curiosity, flexibility and lightness. In this space, clients can explore the patterns, beliefs and emotional experiences that have shaped their lives.
A safe space for enquiry

Lauren’s steady presence and the practical techniques she taught me, such as anchoring methods, breathing exercises and ways to cope with difficult moment, were very helpful. These tools helped me to feel safe, calm and more prepared to cope.
I am grateful for her therapy and highly recommend her for anyone looking for professional, trauma-informed support.
I am truly grateful for the time i spent working with Lauren. From the very first meeting she created a safe, inclusive and loving space, where I felt truly understood. Her warmth, comfort and steady presence allowed me to open up and grow in way I never thought possible. She never rushed me, never judged me, and always met me where I with compassion. Even on difficult days, I left the session feeling calmer and more stable. Lauren has a rare gift- making people feel seen. I highly recommend her.
Approaches and Tools that Accompany the Therapeutic Journey
I combine different approaches, all of which aim to create connection, stability and healing from within
Psychotherapy
Traditional psychotherapy helps to deepen the understanding of thoughts, feelings and behavioural patterns. It often focuses on exploring past experiences, with the aim of deepening the understanding of current challenges. During the process, coping strategies are developed to improve psychological wellbeing and strengthen sense of stability.
IFS (Internal Families Systems)
IFS is a therapeutic approach that sees the psyche as composed of a number of ‘parts,’ each of which has unique feelings, beliefs, roles, and an internal sense of self. The main goal of the approach is to foster a connection between the person and their internal parts, thereby reducing repression or neglect of various aspects of identity and self-experience.
Polyvagal theory
A method developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, explains how our nervous system responds to situations of safety, danger and threat to life. The theory focuses on the vagus nerve, which affects heart rate, breathing and emotional regulation. The theory identifies three main stages of the autonomic nervous system, a state of calm, connection and safety, a fight or flight response and a freeze or disconnection response. Understanding these stages helps to understand our reactions to stressful situations and supports healing processes by strengthening the sense of security.
Compassionate Enquiry
Compassionate Inquiry is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr Gabor mate, that helps people gently uncover the unconscious beliefs and emotional pain that underlie their behaviours and symptoms. The approach is based on understanding that most of our suffering stems from early experiences of disconnection or trauma. Through empathetic and non-judgemental inquiry, the therapist helps the client recognize hidden patterns, reconnect with the authentic self and promote emotional healing.
